About Vol Spot
Vol Spot is an independent flight-deal tracker built for travellers leaving from Quebec City (YQB) and Montreal (YUL). It checks fares to a few hundred destinations and lists the ones that have dropped well below their usual price, so you do not have to dig through dozens of dates and websites.
Every route on the site is shown with the cheapest fare we recently found and the typical price that route normally sells for, so you can tell right away whether a deal is good or just average. We track both departure cities, so you can see which airport has the better fare.
Vol Spot does not sell tickets and is not a travel agency. When you find a fare worth booking, we send you to Google Flights to pick your exact dates and complete the booking with the airline or an agency of your choice.

No. Vol Spot tracks fares and does not sell tickets. When you find a deal, we link you to Google Flights so you can choose your dates and book directly with an airline or agency.
Which airports does Vol Spot cover?
Vol Spot tracks flights departing from Quebec City (YQB) and Montreal (YUL). Pick either hub, or keep both on to compare, and each deal shows which airport it departs from.
How is the discount calculated?
Each route has a typical price based on what it normally sells for. The discount is how far the cheapest fare we recently found sits below that typical price, shown as a percentage.
How often are prices updated?
Routes are scanned regularly, and every deal shows when it was last checked. Because airfares change constantly, always confirm the live price on Google Flights before you book.
How do price alerts work?
Sign in, choose a destination, and set the maximum price or the minimum discount that would make you book. When a fare matches, Vol Spot emails you.
How often will you email me for one alert?
You get an email as soon as a fare matches. After that, you get at most one reminder a week for the same deal while it still matches. Premium members can choose to be re-alerted sooner when the price keeps dropping.
